Browsing - The books are organized by categories and sub-categories according to subject and can be accessed through the "menu" on the left-hand side of the home page or the subject links on bottom of the home page.
The book listings are organized with the latest publications at the top.
Searching - If you have a particular book in mind and know keywords from the title use the SEARCH facility to search by keyword or ISBN. Please note the ISBN must be exactly correct to get a result and in many ways it is better to stick with keywords.
The authors are not searchable.
Buying Procedure
When you have found the book you are looking for use the "Add to Cart" button to make your purchase. You must then "Checkout" where you will be asked for payment details.
Proforma - If you need an accurate quotation in order to make your purchase please select the PROFORMA drop-down option and you may then print out the form for future reference or payment by cheque.
Delivery
All books are despatched using a registered trackable service which will require a signature on delivery.
Please ensure that there will be somebody available to sign for the books. Books are normally despatched within 7 working days of receiving your order and you will be sent an e-mail 24 hours in advance advising you of the delivery date.
International Delivery
International deliveries are made using couriers operating a guaranteed trackable service and as above they will require a signature on delivery. These are express services with transit times of between 2 and 5 days for most destinations.
Cancellation and Returns
Your order can be cancelled at any time before delivery.
After delivery requests for returns should be sent to sales@stmbooks.co.uk outlining the reason for return together with the date and reference number of the purchase. All requests will be dealt with promptly - usually within 24 hours of receipt.
Security
All credit card payments are processed using recognized payment providers and are completely secure. Your details are not held in clear text on any part of our web site.
STM Books do not disclose buyers' information to third parties nor do they send random e-mails to personal e-mail addresses (spam).
Cookies
Cookies are used to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.
Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes and complies fully with the 1998 Data Protection Act
